I’m an instructional designer with 20 years of experience in Learning and Development.

I have developed tailor-made learning solutions for internal and external audiences when living in 7 countries.

I speak 4 languages and enjoy finding effective ways to communicate with people from all cultures and using this knowledge to design, develop, and facilitate effective learning solutions for diverse adult audiences.

I love learning and enabling others to learn by creating effective learning materials. My natural curiosity and empathy for learners from diverse perspectives combined with in-depth knowledge of adult learning theory drives me to be resourceful in gathering data from multiple stakeholders, collaborate effectively, and develop learning solutions that are effective, efficient, and engaging.

HOW I WORK

I use the ADDIE process to create custom learning experiences. Here’s how:

Analysis

I gather evidence from multiple stakeholders and sources to conduct a thorough and efficient needs analysis.

Design

I make a plan for creating a tailored learning solution. This may include a storyboard, outline, and/or scripts, depending on project needs.

development

Using the design documents we agree on in the previous step, I create the learning solution. I provide updates on the development process and drafts for feedback.

implementation

Either I deliver the training myself or I design clear materials and train the trainer so that others can effectively deliver the training I developed.

Evaluation

I evaluate learner engagement and the degree to which participants are able to achieve the learning outcomes we initially agreed upon. I will continue to work with you to ensure a return on investment and that your training needs are met.
